# Food & Climate Solutions: How Can Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Help?

Food – from production to waste - accounts for approximately 24 % of greenhouse gas emissions, almost equal to the 25% stemming from electricity generation.

In this session, Dr. Jonathan Foley, Executive Director of Project Drawdown details the core environmental issues of agriculture today. Solutions include better food choices, environmentally responsible production and the minimization of waste.
