Drexlar Attram is a dedicated advocate for circularity in corporate sustainability. In her recent role as a Fellow at the New York City Fair Trade Coalition, she led initiatives that analyzed data for reports on fashion waste reduction. As an Intern at Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose, she researched corporate ESG practices, identifying collaboration opportunities aligned with social responsibility goals. Currently pursuing an M.S. in Sustainability Management at Columbia University, Drexlar focuses on Corporate ESG, the Circular Economy, and Sustainable Fashion. Elizabeth Bagley, Ph.D., is an interdisciplinary environmental scientist and learning scientist with experience spanning academia, business, and the nonprofit sector. As managing director, Elizabeth guides Project Drawdown’s overall strategy and keeps programs and operations functioning smoothly across the organization. Before joining Project Drawdown she led higher education-focused climate workforce development at SEI, directed sustainability efforts at the California Academy of Sciences, and designed the science content for video games at LeapFrog.

Maggie Baird is a climate activist committed to building equitable solutions that move all of us to action. Carson Chan is the inaugural director of the Emilio Ambasz Institute for the Joint Study of the Built and Natural Environment at the Museum of Modern Art, where he is also curator of Architecture and Design. He develops, leads, and implements the Ambasz Institute’s manifold research initiatives through a range of programs, including exhibitions, public lectures, conferences, seminars, and publications. Dr. Vanessa Z. Chan is the Chief Commercialization Officer for the Department of Energy and Director of the Office of Technology Transitions. In this role she is responsible for driving private sector uptake of clean energy technologies as the steward of commercialization activities across DOE, the 17 National Laboratories, and the Department’s other research and production facilities across the country.

His work with customers and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) around the world focuses on optimizing the impact of sustainability on businesses and communities. Chris’ experience in the forest products industry spans nearly 30 years. Chris earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in forest management and forestry from North Carolina State University and received a doctorate in forestry from Virginia Tech.
Ashleigh de la Torre, Vice President of Public Policy at Amazon, has a policy career in D.C. that spans nearly three decades. In her current role, she leads Amazon’s transportation and sustainability legislative and regulatory affairs teams. In this role, she supports Amazon’s U.S. operations, logistics, and delivery businesses – including Amazon Air, Amazon Transportation Services, drone delivery, and maritime shipping – and supply chain and infrastructure issues. She also leads policy engagement on behalf of Amazon’s sustainability efforts and the company’s pledge to be net-zero carbon by 2040.

Suzanne DiBianca is EVP and Chief Impact Officer at Salesforce. Before joining JFF, as a cofounder of Include Venture Partners, Eldridge focused on investing in a diverse group of founders and fund managers who wanted to create innovative ecosystems in their areas. Before that, he was senior director of investments at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator.
Keith Ellison was sworn in as Minnesota’s 30th attorney general on January 7, 2019. As the People’s Lawyer, Attorney General Ellison’s job is to help Minnesotans afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect. His guiding values are generosity and inclusion.
From 2007 to 2019, Keith Ellison represented Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he championed consumer, worker, environmental, and civil- and human-rights protections for Minnesotans. Jackson Ewing, PhD, seeks to help facilitate energy transitions internationally and in the United States. His current focus includes international climate finance and just energy transition partnerships, systems-level changes needed to meet net-zero goals in the US, and US and Chinese outbound infrastructure investments. Dr. Ewing leads educational exchanges between Asia and the United States through a leadership role with Duke Kunshan University in greater Shanghai. He has worked in more than twenty countries with actors in government, the private sector, civil society, and international organizations, and he publishes widely through a range of mediums.
Jonathan Foley, Ph.D., is a world-renowned environmental scientist, sustainability expert, author, and public speaker. His work focuses on understanding our changing planet and finding new solutions to sustain the climate, ecosystems, and natural resources we all depend on.

With 36 years of experience in the ocean and dinghy racing Damian Foxall has logged 400,000 nautical miles as a professional racing sailor, participated in 20+ Trans-Atlantics, 10 round the world races and is a holder of numerous World records. Damian’s experience in the marine industry ranges from project management to offshore sailing roles including the Volvo Ocean Race, extensive multihull and singlehanded racing. Damian has worked as an Ocean Conservation advocate within sailing across multiple platforms and disciplines to highlight the importance of Ocean health and nature connection.
In 2018, Jeff moved back to Minnesota as a vice president of Hormel’s Foodservice Group. He then led the integration of the Planters® nuts brand when Hormel bought in from Kraft Heinz in 2021 for $3.3 billion. Later in 2021, Jeff assumed the role as Group Vice President of Grocery Products for Hormel Foods, which encompassed the leadership of all of the company’s grocery brands. Jeff joined CROPP in January of 2023 as CEO. Since arriving to the Cooperative, his most notable accomplishments include staffing a highly functioning executive team, creating and executing a clear 3-year strategic plan, driving organizational culture enhancements, and delivering significantly improved financial performance in terms of net income growth, farmer pay price increases, and debt reduction.
Marsia Geldert-Murphey is one of two regional directors for Lochmueller Group, a 270-person Midwestern consulting firm, where she is responsible for the operations of their offices in the states of Missouri and Illinois. She has three decades of diverse, increasingly responsible, multi-disciplinary technical and leadership experience, both for private and public entities. Marsia’s history includes the founding of two consulting engineering firms and a construction business.
An ASCE member since 1990, when she joined as a student chapter member, Marsia is the current chair of the Public Policy and Practice Committee. Her extensive ASCE activities include service on several Society-level committees such as program and finance, leader training, and diversity and women, as well as serving as a mentor. She remains actively involved with both universities. She is currently serving on the Selection Committee for the new dean of the Jerome J. Rachel co-leads RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings policy work. She oversees RMI’s work in roughly 15 priority states across the nation and at the federal level. Rachel is passionate about advancing precedent-setting policy solutions that eliminate building-sector emissions and improve the quality of life for those most burdened by the climate crisis.
Before joining RMI, Rachel spent 15 years advancing clean energy and climate policies through her work in philanthropy, advocacy, and the state government. Rachel launched Sierra Club’s building electrification campaign in California in 2016 and collaboratively made it a national campaign covering over 12 states. She lives in Oakland, California, and can be found biking in the redwood forests with her family.
Estefanía Pihen, formerly the Program Director for Climate Action Pathways for Schools (CAPS) and member of its advisory council, has worked across the globe in transformative sustainability education for over 15 years. She has led teams in projects focused at creating green schools, developing curricular materials, implementing in and outside learning programs, and conducting professional training for teachers to support the integration of action-oriented sustainability education. She recently joined the California Academy of Sciences as its Chief of Education and Learning and Roberts-Wilson Dean of Education.
Julie is the Chief Sustainability Officer of Olam Agri, a leading agri-business with a mission to transform agriculture for a more sustainable and food-secure future. With a career spanning 20 years across Africa and Asia, Julie champions responsible private sector development as a means to socio-economic progress.
At Olam, Julie spearheads the 2030 Sustainability Goals and strategies across its multiple businesses and geographies. She established her career in transformative social and community development initiatives in Sierra Leone, including rural development projects with German development cooperation GIZ and relief programmes at the International Rescue Committee. Julie currently serves as Chair of the African Cotton Foundation.
Erika Gupta is Head of Sustainability and Environmental Initiatives at Siemens Financial Services (SFS) Americas. In this role, she leads the sustainability strategy for SFS in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. This includes developing and launching a comprehensive decarbonization tool to enable companies to increase their business competitiveness through decarbonizing their operations. Prior to this role, Erika Gupta was the Research Group Head at Siemens Technology for Sustainable Buildings and Grids. She was responsible for the Sustainable Energy and Infrastructure strategy and research portfolio for Siemens in the U.S. Before joining Siemens, Erika spent a decade at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). She was the acting program manager for the Emerging Technologies Program in DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Building Technologies (BTO). Her work at BTO leveraged her controls background, focusing on building energy management controls and projects supporting controls and cybersecurity for grid-integrated efficient buildings.
Dr. Ruiz-Gutierrez works at the interface between science and application to deepen our understanding of the social and environmental factors that shape where and when species occur on a given landscape to improve decision-making and conservation. Her research group works on developing and applying novel quantitative modeling techniques to understand how human drivers of land-use change (e.g. agriculture) affect biodiversity using birds as indicators. Her team works collaboratively with practitioners, decision-makers, industry, and local communities to design research that supports the development and implementation of strategies that reconcile biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and human well-being.
Erik Hansen is Chief Sustainability Officer at Workday, Inc.
Erik leads the company’s global sustainability efforts. He is responsible for the development and implementation of sustainability strategies across Workday’s operations and workplace. His responsibilities range from renewable energy procurement to development and implementation of the company’s 1.5°C science-based targets to external environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting. Under his leadership, Workday announced a goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2021 and a commitment to use 100 percent renewable electricity across global operations, which the company achieved one year early in 2020.
Prior to joining Workday in 2010, Erik worked at EY for seven years advising clients in IT risk management.
Matthew Hayek is an environmental scientist and Assistant Professor at New York University. His scientific research quantifies the environmental impacts of our food system, with a specific focus on greenhouse gas emissions, such as methane, and land use changes, including deforestation. His research uses environmental and statistical analyses to clarify the contributions that food system policies can make toward mitigating emissions to meet national and international climate targets. Dr. Hayek received his PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from Harvard University, which was followed by a postdoc appointment at the Harvard Law School. He is also an affiliated faculty member in the NYU Center for Data Science.
Maya Hari is the CEO of Terrascope, the leading decarbonization platform for enterprises in the land-based economy. Maya is a seasoned C-suite executive in high growth digital and technology companies. Her career journey spans two decades and three continents focused on mobile, consumer and social businesses at Twitter, Google, Microsoft and Cisco. She also successfully spearheaded digital transformation at Samsung & Conde Nast.
Prior to joining Terrascope, Maya spent seven years at Twitter in a variety of roles including VP of Global Strategy as well as Managing Director of Twitter’s Asia Pacific business. Throughout her career, Maya has managed large teams from diverse cultural contexts having worked and lived in the US, France, India and Singapore. She brings deep expertise scaling businesses globally including key markets such as US, China, Latin America, India & SE Asia.
Shideh Hashemi is the Country Marketing Manager of IKEA U.S., before which she was a Regional Marketing Manager. Prior to joining IKEA, Shideh worked at Johnson & Johnson for ten years. She has a B.S. from Lehigh University and an MBA from Duke Fuqua University.
Jennifer Hebets is a distinguished leader in sustainable supply chains, with over 17 years of experience in the CPG, biotech, and agriculture industries. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Responsible Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Supplier Diversity at Kellanova, she oversees a global team, ensuring the achievement of Kellanova’s Scope 3 carbon reduction targets and fostering sustainable agricultural practices across multiple regions. She also oversees a $300 million Supplier Diversity program. Prior roles include leading business development efforts at Brightseed Bio and as Director of Strategy for the Cocoa Enterprise at Mars.
Kate Heiny is the Vice President of Sustainability at Booking Holdings, where she spearheads the company’s global sustainability strategy, driving impactful initiatives across operations, products, and communities. Previously, she served as Director of Sustainability at Zalando, where she launched the company's sustainability strategy and published its first Corporate Digital Responsibility Report. Kate has also held senior roles at Target and C&A. She serves on the Global Sustainable Tourism Council’s Board of Directors and actively contributes to Higg Co, the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, and Organic Cotton Accelerator.
Dr Steve Howard is currently Vice Chairman, Sustainability at Temasek. He joined Temasek as Chief Sustainability Officer in January 2021. Steve is a board member of GenZero and chairs its Investment Committee. He is also a founding board member of the Temasek‐BlackRock joint venture, Decarbonization Partners, and a member of the Investment Committee. Steve is also Founding Chair of the We Mean Business Coalition and a member of the LeapFrog’s Global Leadership Council. He was until recently on the Administrative Board of SEforALL.

Barbara Humpton is President and CEO of Siemens Corporation, where she guides the company’s strategy and engagement in serving the company’s largest market. Siemens USA employs approximately 45,000 people serving customers in all 50 states and Puerto Rico and generated $19.9 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2023. She views the true purpose of technology as expanding what’s humanly possible. She joined Workiva in 2019 as EVP and COO, rising to President and COO in 2022. Before Workiva, Julie was EVP and CTO at Medidata Solutions, playing a key role in its $5.8B strategic sale. She also held leadership roles at WageWorks, guiding the company through its IPO. Julie currently serves on the board of directors for Workiva Inc. (NYSE:WK) and Five9 (NASDAQ:FIVN). She has previously been named among InformationWeek’s Elite 100, is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and received her Master of Science from the University of California, Davis.
Lisa Jackson is Apple’s vice president of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives, reporting to CEO Tim Cook. She oversees Apple’s efforts to minimize its impact on the environment by addressing climate change through renewable energy and energy efficiency, using greener materials, and inventing new ways to conserve precious resources. She also leads Apple’s $100 million Racial Equity and Justice Initiative, focused on education, economic opportunity, and criminal justice reform — and is responsible for Apple’s education policy programs, its product accessibility work, and its worldwide government affairs function. From 2009 to 2013, Lisa served as Administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency. Appointed by President Barack Obama, she focused on reducing greenhouse gases, protecting air and water quality, preventing exposure to toxic contamination, and expanding outreach to communities on environmental issues.
Dr. Roderick Jackson is the laboratory program manager for buildings research at NREL. He sets the strategic agenda for NREL's buildings portfolio, while working closely with senior laboratory management. The portfolio includes all research, development, and market implementation activities, which aim to improve the energy efficiency of building materials and practices. He also guides discussions with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Building Technologies Office to expand research ranging from grid-interactive efficient buildings to mechanical and thermal properties of building materials. He helps identify industry partnership opportunities to advance building envelope and equipment technologies. At NREL, Dr. Jackson was recognized as a Distinguished Member of Research Staff. In 2022, he received a Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA), recognized with a BEYA Professional Achievement in Government Award. He is serving a three-year appointment to the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) Research Advisory Board, which began in 2021. He has been a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers and has received several awards in his career, including the National GEM Consortium Alumni of the Year and Greater Knoxville Business Journal's 40 under 40. In 2022, he joined the board of directors for the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP).

Under Jay’s stewardship, Diageo has accelerated programs in North America to reach millions of consumers with a message “drink better, not more” and to tackle the harms associated with impaired driving. He leads the team that is bringing a hospitality-focused job readiness program, Learning Skills for Life, to thousands of individuals in national markets and is making critical, multi-million-dollar investments in tackling educational equity at Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions and providing direct charitable giving to communities. Jay helps lead the team that is designing the operational and investment strategy to decarbonize the North American footprint and achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Leslie Kaufman is a senior climate change reporter for Bloomberg Green. A recipient of numerous awards, her work on profiteering off water scarcity was a finalist for the Pulitzer prize last year. She writes frequently about the financial and social implications of natural disasters, the impact of products like plastics and tobacco on the natural environment, and the policy agenda coming from Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court. Before Bloomberg, Leslie was a national environment reporter for The New York Times. Her work has been featured in Popular Science, Inside Climate News and National Public Radio.
Mastak is ESG Director at Bansk, where she leads the identification and maximization of key ESG opportunities that are material to the consumer goods space and the Bansk portfolio. Alongside her role at Bansk, she is Programme Director at Becht Foundation and is responsible for strategy and development of the grants portfolio to protect and restore our planet’s biodiversity through marine conservation and climate communications.

Nathaniel Keohane is President of the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), a widely respected, nonpartisan non-profit organization that works with policy makers and leading businesses to accelerate the transition to a thriving, just, and resilient net-zero-emissions economy. Dr. Keohane is a globally recognized expert on climate policy, carbon markets, and the economics of climate change. He has more than 20 years of energy and environmental policy experience in academia, government, and the non-profit sector, including at Environmental Defense Fund, where he held a range of roles including Chief Economist and most recently Senior Vice President for Climate; in the White House, as Special Assistant to President Obama for Energy and Environment in the National Economic Council (2011-2012); and, earlier in his career, as Assistant and then Associate Professor of Economics at the Yale School of Management. Marissa Knodel serves as Senior Advisor to the Director of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management at the Department of the Interior. Prior to joining the Biden-Harris administration in January 2021, she was Legislative Counsel with Earthjustice and a Climate Campaigner at Friends of the Earth, where her areas of expertise included federal onshore, offshore, and Arctic energy policy and regulations. Marissa holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a dual J.D. and Master of Environmental Management degree from Vermont Law School and the Yale School of the Environment.

Before that Jenny worked at Royal Dutch Shell, and in the IT sector. Jenny also holds a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Auckland.

With a background in ocean conservation and climate resilience—including eight years with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration—Christy’s work has taken her to six continents, with time spent living and working in the Pacific and Caribbean Islands. Much of Christy's early career was spent working with island nations to build climate resilience, including partnering with impacted communities to advance local management of natural resources.

Kirsten Love is the CMO at Tradewater, a mission-based B-Corp focused on identifying, controlling, and destroying the most potent greenhouse gases in the world. In her role, Kirsten leads the Market Development and MarComm teams whose efforts make Tradewater’s high-quality carbon offset credits available to new markets in impactful ways that meet partners’ sustainability goals. His experience includes management consulting at Bain & Company, corporate strategy at Liberty Mutual, and building an innovation lab at The Hartford. Currently, he helps to run InnSure, a non-profit innovation hub catalyzing novel insurance solutions that address climate change risk. Chris also sits on the Board of Directors of, or is an advisor to, InnSure, Insure Equality, and Insillion.

As a global thought leader, Lubber has inspired capital market leaders including some of the world’s largest institutional investors and corporate boards and executives to factor responsible investment and business practices into their overall strategies. She regularly speaks to high-level global and national policymakers on the need for stronger climate policies that accelerate the transition to a more just and resilient economy. She is frequently quoted in mainstream business and financial news outlets and pens columns for Forbes.com and Reuters.com on a variety of sustainability topics. In 2015, Lubber helped catalyze the necessary business support to get the historic Paris Agreement across the finish line, leading Vogue Magazine to name her a “Climate Warrior.”
Stefano Marguccio, Deputy CEO, SEforALL Stefano is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SEforALL, where he collaborates with all SEforALL teams and key partners to drive tangible progress in key countries and shape the international agenda for a just and equitable energy transition, supporting the implementation of organizational priorities under the ongoing strategic plan. A career diplomat with over 19 years of international experience, since 2014 Stefano has been engaged in the climate, environment and energy space, first as Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister of Environment of Italy and more recently as Senior Advisor to the Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). Adam works closely with the US Congress and the White House on bipartisan efforts to promote

Since 2018, Tom Michels has been a leader on United’s Government Affairs team, where he focuses on both Federal and State policy and leads all advocacy related to climate and sustainability issues. Previously, Tom led the ONE Future Coalition, a group of natural gas companies focused on reducing their methane emissions. Prior roles included serving as a Senior Advisor in Shell’s Washington office, as Legislative Director to a U.S. Senator, and work with two trade associations. Tom earned an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a BA in Philosophy from LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
Bill Morris joined MycoWorks in 2019 as VP of Product, leading the development and production of Fine Mycelium products. He has over a decade of experience developing, testing and launching new technologies, and has authored several patents. In 2010, he co-founded Applied Silver, Inc whose bacteria-fighting silver technology has transformed medical textiles and athletic apparel into self-sanitizing material, reducing the risk of infection. This technology is now used in leading hospital chains, hotels, and the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLS leagues. Bill has likewise collaborated with leading academics and medical professionals on clinical trials for the Environmental Protection Agency, and was a board member of the California American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists. Guillaume Mouscadet is the VP, Business Software Transformation at Kayrros. He joined the company in 2021 after spending more than 20 years working in sales roles across energy, defense, IT and other critical industries. At Kayrros, he drives the adoption of the company’s Enterprise Environmental Intelligence platform, which is rapidly gaining traction in a number of sectors, including finance, insurance and energy, as well as in the public sector. Guillaume, who was hired by Kayrros to expand its customer portfolio, also plays a vital role in promoting Kayrros’ nature-based solutions.

Danielle Nierenberg is a world-renowned researcher, speaker, and advocate on all issues relating to our food system and agriculture. Claire Perry O’Neill is Co-chair of the Global Imperatives Advisory Board at WBCSD and a sustainability advisor to Terrascope, the leading decarbonization platform for enterprises in the land-based economy. Claire is considered a global expert on sustainability and decarbonisation with a particular focus on practical action and the leading role of the private sector.
She served as a UK Member of Parliament from 2010. In 2019 she brought forward the country’s ground-breaking Net Zero legislation and led the UK’s winning bid to host COP26. She served as COP26 President-Designate until she left politics in 2020 to lead the Climate and Energy team at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), the world’s leading corporate sustainability organisation. As the Chief Impact Officer for Seventh Generation, Ashley serves as a senior leader for the Company’s Mission and environmental and social impacts. Prior to joining PJT Partners, Amelia founded and led the global ESG practice at Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm. As a PhD student at the University of Canberra, I am passionate about exploring the impacts of climate change on sports and finding ways to promote sustainability and ethics in the sports industry. I have a strong background in sports governance and policy, with over 10 years of experience as the President of Luge Australia Inc., where I manage athletes and talent identification for the sport of luge in Australia.
I also hold an Erasmus Master in Sports Ethics and Integrity from KU Leuven, where I investigated current ethical issues in the sports world, such as doping, corruption, and human rights. I have competed in two Winter Olympic Games for Australia in the sport of luge, and have taught Technology and PDHPE at various educational institutions. I have strong skills in leadership, education development and delivery, project management, analytics and research.
Mike leads the Climate Group portfolio of global campaigns that are designed to secure climate commitment and action from the world’s most influential companies: from growing demand for renewable energy (RE100), electric vehicles (EV100) and low carbon steel (SteelZero), to investing in smart energy systems (EP100) including cooling technologies and LED lighting. Mike has worked with companies across the world on climate and sustainability issues since 1998, spending more than a decade at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), including as Director of Executive Programmes and Director of Strategy & Communications. Before joining CISL, he was Chief Operating Officer of Accountability where he led the development of the AA1000 framework for sustainability accounting and reporting.
Michael Perron is the renewable energy market lead for FM. He cultivates key broker relationships and helps to develop and execute the strategy of FM’s renewable energy unit, which was announced in May 2024. Prior to joining FM, Perron spent 20 years placing insurance for large clients focusing on energy, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other engineered risks. Perron is a licensed insurance broker and a licensed professional engineer. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management.

Monalisa Prasad serves as the Vice President of Sustainability at Chartwells Higher Education, where she has contributed her expertise and dedication for over 9 years. Her journey into sustainability was catalyzed during her time in the UK, where she was struck by the volume of edible food wasted at local supermarkets. This experience ignited her passion for exploring the intersection of food, waste, energy, and climate. Her commitment to food systems and sustainability was further solidified through her involvement in Tristram Stuart’s Feeding the 5000 event in Trafalgar Square in 2011. As Head of Coffee Sustainability at Nespresso, Julie oversees the implementation of the coffee sourcing program, known as the Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality Program, which operates in 18 countries. This program is supported by a network of over 650 AAA agronomists and field staff on the ground. Through collaboration with some 50 partner organisations, AAA is addressing systemic challenges to build a low-carbon and inclusive approach to coffee agriculture.

Carter Roberts is president and CEO of WWF in the United States, a part of the world’s largest network of conservation organizations. Roberts has helped create and deliver some of WWF’s biggest initiatives that combine science, government policy, blended finance, corporate commitments, sustainable supply chains, and the wisdom and rights of communities to stabilize and protect the natural resources upon which all life depends. Sarah Rose serves as Audubon’s Vice President of Climate. In this role, Sarah oversees programmatic efforts to advance Audubon’s climate milestone goals in order to ensure we protect birds, communities, and the habitats we share. Prior to joining Audubon in 2018, Sarah served as the former Chief Executive Officer for the California League of Conservation Voters (CLCV) Education Fund, the nonpartisan voter engagement and capacity-building arm of the environmental community, as well as their sister organization, CLCV, the political action arm of the state’s environmental movement.

Ms. Kronthal-Sacco leads CSB’s research in the areas of marketing and brands including the Sustainable Market Share Index™. Jean Savitsky is the Director of Real Estate and Sustainability at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Prior to this position, Jean was the Director of Real Estate Expansion at MoMA, leading the team that managed the Museum’s expansion project, completed in 2019. Savitsky has extensive experience in the construction, real estate, and green building industries across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. In addition to deep expertise in construction project management, she has experience developing green real estate strategies and delivering building-retrofit, energy optimization, and LEED projects. Lauren Singer has been founding, scaling, and operating businesses in climate since 2012. She has consulted on NYC Local Law 84 and Local Law 87 implementation, laid the foundation for EV adoption and policy in New York City under Mayor Bloomberg, and was Sustainability Manager at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, implementing a sustainability framework on $4B of capital infrastructure projects. Tenuta’s 40-year tenure at Ecolab includes more than 25 years of technical, marketing and business management experience in various industries including Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Lodging, Healthcare, Primary Metals and Automotive. For the past 15 years, Tenuta has led Ecolab’s strategic sustainability journey focused on corporate responsibility, internal environmental stewardship and helping customers operate more sustainably. He is actively involved in advancing global sustainability practices, with a significant focus on water stewardship and climate. In partnership with Global S&P Trucost – and a multi-stakeholder advisory group – Tenuta led development of the Water Risk Monetizer, industry’s first financial modeling tool to assess water-related risk, and the Smart Water Navigator, a free online tool to help businesses improve water management and achieve their water reduction targets.
Simon Henzell-Thomas is currently the Director of Climate and Nature at Ingka Group (IKEA) where he is leading the climate agenda.
Prior to this his current role he was the Director of Global Public Affairs, Advocacy & Transparency for Ingka Group where he lead the global Public Affairs, Advocacy & Transparency functions, driving change in society through purpose-led advocacy and campaigning, influencing public policy and ensuring the highest standards of corporate transparency. Simon has also held positions in the IKEA sustainability function in Sweden, leading the human rights strategy development and partnership-building. Before that, he was Head of Sustainability & Ethical Trade at The Body Shop, which then became part of the part of the L’Oréal Group.
He has over nearly 20 years of experience working with and for global blue-chip retailers in a number of senior leadership roles. He has a background in change management, executive and non-executive leadership, corporate sustainability, human rights, multi-stakeholder partnerships, advocacy, stakeholder engagement and corporate transparency.
Nigel Topping, CMG has led and been involved in many of the global initiatives uniting business and governments in tackling climate change. He is cofounder of AmbitionLoop, a not-for-profit organization working to facilitate systemic change through radical collaboration between businesses and governments. He served as the UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP26, where he launched global initiatives like Race To Zero, Race To Resilience and GFANZ. He is a Non-Executive Director of the UK Infrastructure Bank and business champion on the UK Climate Change Committee, and strategic advisor to the 57-country collaboration launched at Glasgow, the Breakthrough Agenda. Prior to this he was CEO of the We Mean Business Coalition following an 18 year career running and owning manufacturing businesses. Nigel was awarded a CMG in 2022 in Queen Elizabeth II's final honours list for his contribution to accelerating action on climate change and is Honorary Professor of Economics at Exeter University.
Omar Vargas is the Vice President, Head of Global Public Policy at General Motors (GM). In this role, he leads GM’s global engagement of government officials and public policy.
Prior to joining GM in August of 2021, Omar held senior government relations roles with 3M, Praxair, and PepsiCo. In the early 2000s, Omar was as an appointee of President George W. Bush to the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served in a variety of capacities. His portfolio included a broad range of law enforcement, civil rights, national security, and immigration policy matters, including violence against women and human trafficking victim services programs. His government service was preceded by work at Cooper & Kirk, PLLC, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Jacomijn Vels started her career at ING in 1994 as a trainee and during almost 30 years at ING developed into an all round and experienced international banking professional. After combining strong commercial expertise with in-depth risk management knowledge, Jacomijn decided to steer her career towards sustainability. She was appointed as the Global Head Sustainable Finance in 2022 and leads a global team of ca 50 FTEs with teams across EMEA, in the APAC region and in the Americas. Before joining the sustainability team at ING, she was part of the Global Credit Restructuring (GCR) management team during the previous 10 years. Her commercial background is primarily in acquisition finance, a.o. Head of the Leveraged Finance team in the Netherlands and regional head of the Asia Pacific Leveraged Finance teams, based in Singapore/Sydney. In her current role Jacomijn combines her personal passion for sustainability with her strong leadership skills, in-depth commercial experience and comprehensive risk experience.
Stephanie von Friedeburg is a Managing Director at Citibank leading efforts to scale DFI Strategic Partnerships. Stephanie is leveraging her extensive background in infrastructure/project finance and ESG aligned financing to support sovereign client’s national agendas as well as private client needs. In 2022, she completed a successful 30-year career with the WBG.
In recognition of her work, Stephanie was named to Yahoo’s 2021 HERoes 100 List for driving change and increasing gender diversity in the workplace and CIO Magazine’s CIO 100 Award for Outstanding Business Technology Leadership in 2015/17.
Stephanie earned a BS from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, an MA from the Lauder Institute and an MBA from the Wharton School, both at the University of Pennsylvania.
For the last decade, Danni has been on a mission to bring awareness to the ever-growing ocean crisis. Through her work as a public speaker, science communicator and TV host as well as with her non-profit dedicated to ocean conservation, Danni is leading the way on the mission to protect our ocean.
Dr. Angelika Werner is research director for climate risk and resilience at FM. She leads the commercial property insurance company’s global research activities relating to climate resilience. Based in Luxembourg, Werner leads a team of scientists studying flood, wildfire, wind and other severe storms. She has expertise in property insurance, R&D within natural catastrophes, innovation and strategy development and implementation. Werner holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in meteorology from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a doctorate degree in science from Macquarie University in Sydney.
Antha N. Williams leads the Environment program at Bloomberg Philanthropies. Under Williams’ direction, Bloomberg Philanthropies supports environmental initiatives to improve sustainability of cities around the world, to accelerate the transition to clean energy, to combat overfishing and protect coral reefs, and to help businesses and investors better understand climate-related financial risks and opportunities.
Bloomberg Philanthropies’ environment program also serves as the hub of Michael Bloomberg’s personal efforts to combat climate change including in his role as United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Climate Ambition and Solutions and as Chair of the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosures.
Alan is a former businessman, now politician, and since 2019, Premier of the Western Cape.
Before he began his career in politics, he started and successfully operated 10 businesses in his hometown of Knysna. Determined to contribute positively to his town, he then became a councilor, and later, became a member of the provincial parliament.
Since becoming Premier, he has implemented several programmes to achieve these goals, including rolling out lifestyle audits for his cabinet and launching a billion rand safety plan through which over 1000 officers have been deployed to high crime areas. He also oversaw the province’s response to Covid-19, building an 862-bed hospital in a record 6 weeks. In Februrary 2022, he announced a major focus on infrastructure to help recover the province’s economy post-covid, which includes a new emphasis on a dedicated mobility department to improve public transport.

Previously, Steven was the Vice President of Growth at GrubHub, where he managed the company’s customer and market-level growth while helping shape the company's brand and customer messaging platforms. Prior to GrubHub, Steven held leadership positions at DIRECTV, American Express, Endurance International Group, and Puma Sports. Steven received his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
