Globally, Indigenous and local communities are on the frontlines of climate and nature resilience, yet they are often overlooked in conventional conservation agendas. Despite receiving less than 1% of climate finance, grassroots conservationists partner with indigenous and local people to co-develop some of the world's most cost effective nature-based solutions. To accelerate global impact, ambitious investments must scale these solutions for wildlife, climate and people. This session discusses how big ideas in community-led action yield high returns on investment, especially at scale.
