Rosamira Guillen

Board Director, Wildlife Conservation Network

Rosamira Guillen serves on the Board of Directors of the Wildlife Conservation Network, bringing two decades of frontline conservation leadership to WCN's global network. She is also Director of Proyecto Tití, a role she has held since 2008, after discovering the cotton-top tamarin while serving as Executive Director of the Barranquilla Zoo. A proud Colombian with degrees in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Management, she has led Proyecto Tití to secure critically endangered status for the cotton-top tamarin, protect more than 13,500 acres of forest, establish a National Program for cotton-top conservation, and expand community and education programs across Colombia. Rosamira's work has earned the CARACOL Award for Environmental Conservation (2014), the Whitley Award (2015), the National Geographic/Buffett Award (2017), and the Latin-American Green Award (2019). She joined the Wildlife Conservation Network Board of Directors in 2022.
