Sam Calisch
Co-Founder & CEO, Copper
Dr. Sam Calisch is an engineer, scientist, and entrepreneur focused on accelerating building electrification and economy-wide decarbonization. He is the co-founder and CEO of Copper, which makes battery-equipped electric appliances to deploy energy storage at scale, support the grid, and make electrification simple, affordable, and accessible. Previously Sam helped found Rewiring America, the leading national nonprofit advancing electrification and key contributor to the Inflation Reduction Act. Sam completed his PhD at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was a fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
