Jonathan recently retired as a partner, head of one of the three corporate groups and head of the insurance practice at leading London headquartered, international law firm Slaughter and May having spent his legal career at the firm.
Jonathan’s has also completed a part-time Global EMBA at Columbia and London Business Schools as part of his plans to transition to non executive and other part-time roles as part of a plural career. In addition to his Slaughter and May leadership roles, Jonathan had a broad corporate and corporate finance practice with a particular focus in recent years on financial services.
Jonathan has advised a range of clients including FTSE-listed and overseas companies, as well as government departments.
Jonathan’s work has included consideration of the implications of climate change for financial services companies both as (re)insurers and investors and government departments including in supporting backstop arrangements.
