Co-founder and CEO, Phaidra
Jim is the CEO and co-founder of Phaidra, an NVIDIA partner building AI agents for AI factories. Prior to founding Phaidra, Jim led DeepMind Energy, a business unit within Google DeepMind dedicated to applying AI to mitigate climate change. His team pioneered the use of machine learning to optimize Google's data center operations, reducing cooling energy consumption by more than 30%.
Jim began his career as a mechanical engineer designing and operating hyperscale data centers, giving him firsthand experience with the operational challenges of large-scale infrastructure. Today, he combines deep expertise in engineering, AI, and industrial operations to help organizations unlock greater efficiency, reliability, and performance through autonomous systems.
