Jerome is a serial entrepreneur and operator. He founded SmartRecruiters, the global hiring platform connecting 150 million people to jobs annually, which he scaled from zero to a global category leader (acquired by SAP in 2025), delivering a 100x return to early shareholders. Today he leads Rypples, he co-founded with Frederic Trinel (co-founder of EcoVadis), backing proven ocean technologies through the hardest stretch of their journey, from pilot to industrial scale. Rypples has invested in 12 ocean innovation companies spanning alternative packaging, ocean intelligence, and plastic filtration.
