Jean Rogers

Dr. Jean Rogers is a senior advisor and independent board director with three decades of experience at the intersection of infrastructure, capital markets, and the energy transition. She is Senior Operating Advisor to Riverstone Earth, LLC, and Palistar Capital, LP where she advises on sustainable and regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, and digital infrastructure across the Americas.
Jean is the founder and former CEO of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), where she personally directed the Infrastructure sector standards and established the industry-based materiality framework now embedded in the IFRS Foundation's International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). As Senior Managing Director and Global Head of ESG at Blackstone (2021–2025), she served on the Investment Committees of thematic energy transition funds deploying more than $12 billion in private equity and private credit into grid resilience, renewable power, critical infrastructure, and environmental commodities.
Jean is currently a director of the Jane Goodall Institute, a director nominee of CH4 Natural Solutions Corporation (NYSE: MTNE), and on the advisory boards of Terra Alpha Investments and the Woodwell Climate Research Center, where she is a non-executive director serving on the Finance and Investment Committees. She previously served as an independent director and Audit Committee Chair of Foran Mining Corporation (TSX: FOM) and SHINE Medical Technologies.
Jean holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a former Loeb Fellow at Harvard University. She was named one of Barron's Top 20 Influencers of Sustainable Investing and received the Society for Progress Medal from INSEAD.
