Hadia Sheerazi

Senior Fellow, Constructive

Hadia is an award-winning interdisciplinary researcher-practitioner specializing in de-risking the global energy transition and advancing resilience. Her work focuses on advising project developers and investors on best practices to secure social license and reduce permitting risks for the on-time deployment of early-stage, first-of-a-kind (FOAK), and commercial-scale clean energy and critical infrastructure projects across renewables, industrial decarbonization, next-generation technologies including geothermal and nuclear, and data centers. She is currently a Senior Fellow at Constructive, a nonpartisan organization bridging a critical gap in the existing climate and clean energy landscape through cross-sector engagement platforms that advance practical solutions to unlock energy abundance and a thriving planet. Prior to her current role, she served as the North America Lead for the Mission Possible Partnership's Build Clean Now campaign, facilitating local decision-makers’ efforts to co-create near-term interventions to mitigate barriers and accelerate the deployment of priority clean industrial projects in Mexico and Canada. Previously, at Columbia University's Climate School, she played a pivotal role in building the Carbon Management Research Initiative into a $20 million interdisciplinary research team, leading efforts to catalyze whole systems change through data-driven research, public-private partnerships, and engagements with local, state, and federal policymakers in the U.S. and energy & climate ministries in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Oceania.
