Erin Kirton
Senior Associate
Erin is a Senior Associate at VoLo Earth Ventures. She is passionate about advancing a clean and just energy transition and believes innovation is critical to this mission. Prior to joining VoLo, she was an investor at Munich Re Ventures on their Resilient Future and Built Environment investment teams, where she focused on energy value chain opportunities. Erin previously worked in renewable energy development, both as a wind energy engineer and a utility-scale energy storage developer. As an early employee, she helped scale an energy development startup through acquisition.
Erin also serves on the board of Gale Force (KidWind), a nonprofit that promotes STEM education about renewable power and the electric grid. Erin holds a B.S in Environmental Engineering and Integrated Science from Northwestern University and an MBA and MEM (Masters of Environmental Management) from Duke University.
