Eduardo Mufarej
Partner & Co-Chief Investment Officer, Just Climate
Eduardo Mufarej is an investor, entrepreneur and social impact leader, currentlyserving as Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Just Climate, part of Generation Investment Management. In this role, he focuses on scaling high-impact climate solutions globally with an emphasis on natural climate solutions and emerging markets. Mufarej brings more than 25 years of experience across private equity, entrepreneurship and impact investing. He co-founded Tarpon Investimentos, one of Brazil’s leading independent investment firms and later established Good Karma Partners, an impact investment platform that was integrated into Just Climate in 2023. Beyond his investment career, he is the founder of RenovaBR, a nonpartisan initiative that trains new political leaders in Brazil. He also serves on international advisory and governance bodies including as a trustee of The Earthshot Prize. Eduardo holds a BA in Business Administration from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and is a fellow at Stanford University. He is also the author of Jornada Improvável (An Unlikely Journey). Mufarej’s career is defined by a blend of finance, climate action and publicleadership with a consistent focus on mobilising capital and talent to addresssystemic global challenges.
