Charles Cadieu is co-founder and CEO of Spiritus, which delivers firm, carbon-negative power for data centers through its Orchard Power platform. Orchard Power integrates natural gas generation with point-source carbon capture and Spiritus’ proprietary direct air capture technology, with permanent sequestration independently verified by third parties. Previously, Charles founded IQ Engines (acquired by Yahoo!/Flickr) and Caption Health (acquired by GE HealthCare). Charles' companies have twice been named a Best Invention by TIME Magazine and have raised >$100 million from leading venture (Khosla Ventures, DCVC), corporate (Aramco Ventures), and non-dilutive (Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, NSF) funders.
