Aseem Kapur is an energy executive whose career spans both the utility industry’s operational core and the emerging distributed energy ecosystem giving him a rare perspective on how electrification, grid modernization, and customer energy solutions are converging. He has spent his career bridging utility infrastructure and customer-facing energy innovation, with credibility on both sides of the transformation equation.
As Chief Revenue Officer at GM Energy, Aseem leads the company’s product portfolio spanning EV charging hardware, energy management software, and grid services. Under his commercial leadership, GM Energy has expanded partnerships across utilities, fleets, dealers, and commercial energy customers advancing vehicle-to-home, vehicle-to-building, and grid-integrated energy solutions that position electric vehicles as grid assets supporting resiliency, flexibility, and electrification at scale. Prior to GM, Aseem spent nearly two decades at Con Edison, culminating as Director of Distribution Planning.
