Annie Horn is Associate Vice President, Social Impact & Inclusion and Sustainability at the NBA, where she leads the league’ s environmental sustainability work across the NBA and its affiliate leagues. She also oversees NBA Total Health, the league’s
platform focused on advancing health and wellness. Annie works across league operations, marquee events, teams, venues and marketing partners to embed sustainability into the business of basketball.
Annie has guided the NBA’s key climate commitments, including leading its efforts to become the first professional sports league in North America to sign the United Nations Sports for Climate Action Framework. She also led the league’s first carbon footprint assessment and public greenhouse gas emissions disclosure. Her work focuses on measuring, reducing and reporting the NBA’s environmental impacts while advancing practical, scalable initiatives that support business priorities and help protect the future of basketball.
