Alan Dangour

Alan leads Wellcome's Climate and Health team, driving its strategy to put health at the center of global climate action. Previously, he spent two decades at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he was Professor of Food and Nutrition for Global Health and Director of the Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health. Alan has also advised the UK government and Parliament on international development and environmental policy. Outside work, he enjoys baking bread and walking in the Welsh countryside.
