Simin Zhou is vice president and general manager, Risk and Compliance Software, at UL Solutions. In this role, she leads the company’s Software business team to maximize growth and increase customer value. This includes strategy and business execution for ULTRUS, UL Solutions’ connected software portfolio that combines decisiongrade data with trusted scientific expertise to empower product innovation, compliance, sustainability and risk management.
Zhou has more than 25 years of experience in software, compliance, sustainability and innovation roles. She is passionate about working with partners and stakeholders to create innovative solutions that address the next generation of challenges and opportunities. Zhou serves on the executive committees of two councils at The Conference Board, a leading think tank and research organization, where she contributes to the advancement of best practices and thought leadership in
sustainability and product stewardship.
She received her MBA from Harvard Business School, and graduated summa sum laude in Computer Engineering from University of Minnesota with a thesis in AI (neural networks) and data modelling for closed loop biomedical systems.
