Lina Liakou
Co-Managing Director of the Resilient Cities Network
Lina is Co-Managing Director of the Resilient Cities Network, a global network of more than 100 cities working to advance urban resilience. She leads the organization’s strategic direction, partnerships, and engagement with cities, funders, and global institutions.
Previously, Lina served as Global Director of Engagement & Practice at R-Cities and as Deputy Mayor and Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Thessaloniki, Greece. Over the past decade, she has worked at the intersection of urban governance, climate resilience, risk management, and city leadership, helping cities strengthen their capacity to navigate complex and interconnected challenges.
