THE ROLE
The Event Manager will work closely with the Head of Event Operations and the broader team to ensure a seamless, high-impact attendee experience. This operations-focused role is responsible for end-to-end event execution, including pre-event planning, onsite management and post-event wrap up. Key responsibilities include vendor coordination, sponsor logistics, venue specifications, and the planning and execution of evening receptions and related event functions. This is not a marketing role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure all operational details are executed efficiently.
- Develop and manage detailed event timelines, ensuring key milestones are met.
- Onboarding sponsors, continuous communication and on-site sponsor support making sure outstanding deliverables are executed per contract
- Execute meeting logistics which includes signage, space allocation, room specifications, AV requirements, utilities, and other event activities.
- Manage key event vendor relationships pre-show and on-site including but not limited to, GSC, AV, decor/floral, experiential, promotional items, etc
- Research and identify potential event and sponsorship opportunities that add value to the overall event experience.
- Assist in budget management, forecasting and post-event reconciliation
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of experience in event management (preferably large-scale B2B conferences or trade shows)
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, especially when facing multiple priorities
- Highly detail-oriented and deadline driven, be a take-charge problem-solver
- Sound judgment and calm under pressure; able to make clear, confident decisions in fast-moving situations
- Strong ability to manage multiple vendors and operational workflows simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
