As a leader in sustainability within the Built Environment, the Javits Center is bringing an interactive activation that will share how they built one of the largest green roofs in the United States and the rest of their sustainability campaign as part of their Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge. You'll get insight into how The Javits Center continues to improve our environment through its green roof, which reduces energy consumption by 26% annually, provides 40,000 pounds of food to their guests, and is a sanctuary for dozens of local and migratory bird species, multiple bat species, and thousands of insects. Attendees will also dive into how The Javits Center was able to implement other key sustainable features.
