EVA NYC and Ulta Beauty Join the Main Stage!

by The Nest Climate Campus Team

EVA NYC will be back on The Nest Climate Campus, this year in partnership with Ulta Beauty! These brands are taking a hard look at their supply and distribution chain, from the ingredients they use, to their packaging, to their production process – they're determined to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and energy. It's all part of EVA NYC pledge to offset 100% of their emissions and goal to cut their emissions in half by 2030. Similarly, last year, Ulta Beauty established SBTi validated targets to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 emissions 90% and absolute Scope 3 emissions covering use of sold products 28% by 2030, in addition to committing that 68% of Ulta Beauty’s suppliers by emissions covering purchased goods and services will have science-based targets by 2027.

Jamie Richards, Director of ESG at amika + Eva NYC, shared, "Three years ago, I attended NYC Climate Week for the first time and I so badly wanted to see my industry, the beauty industry, represented. The next year, I sought to change that and was invited to speak on The Nest Climate Campus Main Stage on the integration of sustainability and beauty. It delights me to announce that I will be back on The Nest Climate Campus Main Stage come September, representing Eva NYC. This time around I get to share the stage with Ame Igharo, Sr. Director of Sustainability Strategy, at Ulta Beauty."

Come to the Campus on September, 24th to understand all that EVA NYC and Ulta Beauty are doing individually and together to meet their sustainability goals and drive the beauty industry to Net Zero!
