General Motors (GM) and The Nest Climate Campus recently collaborated to host The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) for their 25th Anniversary Scholarship & Donor Recognition Reception and Programs. This remarkable event took place on Monday, May 8th, at the prestigious Javits Center in New York City.
The LAGRANT Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 by Kim L. Hunter, an advertising and marketing executive. It aims to increase diversity in the fields of advertising, marketing, and public relations by providing scholarships, internships, and professional development opportunities to ethnic minority students.
The highlight of the event was the acknowledgment of the remarkable students from across the nation who received the TLF scholarships this year. Prior to the presentation of the awards, students were provided with exclusive chances for professional growth through sessions organized by leading corporations to challenge their marketing and communications skills.
