NEW YORK, NEW YORK, April 19, 2023 - The Nest Climate Campus is pleased to announce Dr. Kimberley Miner, Climate Scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL), as a Keynote speaker during the three-day climate action event taking place September 19-21, 2023. Miner’s Keynote Address will take place the morning of Tuesday, September 19th on the Main Stage.
“Dr. Miner seamlessly incorporates the concepts of risk and resilience into her travels, research, and collaboration with JPL. Dr. Miner, a world-renowned climate scientist, will take the Main Stage to share groundbreaking insights about our planet's current state. With her team's pioneering work in the Arctic as a backdrop, Dr. Miner will reveal startling details about where we stand and delve into critical tipping points in our climate. Miner will also highlight the exceptional ways in which NASA’s JPL scientists are leveraging technology, space exploration, and science to promote sustainability and create a better world for us all.
