Today's Carbon Capture and Storage: Practical. Scalable. Commercial.

Carbon GeoCapture and Contex Labs hosts a one-of-its-kind conversation on the state of today’s carbon capture and sequestration capabilities. The most recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) states that carbon capture and storage (CCS) is “vital for decarbonizing hard-to-abate industrial emissions...and in the near-term CCS is the only feasible solution.” This panel discussion reviews the ways in which carbon capture and storage is ready today to meet the world’s climate goals in a manner that’s safe, efficient, and scalable.

Panel topics include:

  • US Governmental Action on CCS
  • CCS Technology
  • Carbon Markets
  • Carbon Buyers
  • The Role of 45Q in Project Finance
