# Faster Forward – Advancing Sustainability in Events & Fashion

Informa, a FTSE 100 company, has an aggressive commitment to improving environment impacts at their leading trade events and throughout the communities they serve. In this session, Informa's sustainability leadership will discuss their strategy for tackling climate change, with particular focus on their events businesses. It will be immediately followed by an in-person panel discussion between Kelly Helfman, President – IM Fashion, and members of the fashion community, talking about how Informa Markets, as the world’s largest events organizer are leading the way in advancing sustainability in markets such as fashion.

Kelly hosted the COTERIE trade event at Javits September 19-21, where she hosted a Sustainability Pavilion and Mock Shop to highlight sustainable brands and trends. Kelly and the panel will discuss a case study on how fashion brands and retailers are committing to sustainability, leading to increased customer preference and sales.
